Write a brief Estimate the price

A slow website loses visitors before they see anything. On mobile, people wait longer than you would think, and Google takes speed into account when ranking pages. Most slow WordPress sites are not slow because of hosting, but because of what they load.

Measure first

Speed work starts with measurement, not with installing a plugin. PageSpeed Insights and real-user data (Core Web Vitals) show what exactly holds the site back: large images, fonts, plugin scripts, a slow server response or shifting content. Each cause has a different fix.

Typical causes

  • The theme or page builder loads code for features the site does not use
  • Plugins add CSS and JavaScript to every page, even where they are not needed
  • Images are full-resolution camera files
  • Fonts are loaded from third-party servers and block rendering
  • A cookie bar or chat widget loads hundreds of kilobytes before the content
  • The database is full of revisions and temporary data

No redesign

The site is optimised as it is. Design and content stay, the causes are fixed. If something cannot be fixed without a bigger change, for example when the whole site is built on a heavy page builder, the audit says so, with an estimate of what a fix would cost.

Results you can verify

At the end you get a before-and-after comparison: PageSpeed score, LCP, CLS and INP on mobile and desktop. This website, for example, scores 99 on mobile.

What it includes

  • Performance measurement on mobile and desktop including Core Web Vitals
  • Audit of the theme, plugins, images, fonts and third-party scripts
  • Fixing the causes: lighter loading, image and font optimisation
  • Server cache and compression setup
  • Checking that everything still works (forms, cart, analytics)

What you get at the end

  • A faster site with no design changes
  • A before-and-after comparison
  • A list of what changed and why
  • Recommendations on what to avoid in future changes

Who it is for

  • Companies whose PageSpeed score is red
  • E-shops where a slow catalogue puts customers off
  • Sites that got slower after years of plugins and changes

When this is not for you

  • The site is not on WordPress
  • The problem is outdated hosting and you do not want to change it
  • You only want a higher test score without changing what the site loads

Frequently asked questions

Will a caching plugin help?

Partly. Caching speeds up delivery but does not remove unnecessary code or heavy images. Those have to be fixed directly.

Will the site look different?

No. The causes of slowness are fixed, the design stays.

Will the site score 100?

The goal is green Core Web Vitals for real visitors. The exact score depends on what the site must load (analytics, maps, chat).

How long will the improvement last?

Until heavy plugins are added again. Along with the results, you get a list of what to avoid.
